Xergic™ is a Pharmacy Medicine. Each tablet contains fexofenadine hydrochloride. Xergic™ is available in two strengths: 120mg and 180mg. Xergic™ 120mg is used to relieve the symptoms of hayfever. Xergic™ 180mg is used to relieve the symptoms of hayfever and itchy skin rashes (hives). Possible side effects are headache, tiredness, dizziness, drowsiness and nausea. Although this medicine is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery, a few people may be impaired and care should be taken. Do not use Xergic™120mg and 180mg in children less than 12 years of age. Do not take if you have an allergy to fexofenadine hydrochloride or terfenadine (another antihistamine), or any of the ingredients in Xergic™.
